  12. I think I noticed the same problem with my Vi.  At the 57.6 port speed,
  13. the modem sometimes didn't want to take any command, under
  14. Windows.  But, hey, I bought the external modem for $179 for data
  15. communication under Linux so I've never had a problem with
  16. the modem.  It NEVER failed to connect at 28.8 when the other
  17. side is a V34 Courier (I'm only calling into my school's terminal
  18. server).

  20. The thing I don't like about this modem is only the volume
  21. control button.  I like the one on the regular Sportster.
