- I think I noticed the same problem with my Vi. At the 57.6 port speed,
- the modem sometimes didn't want to take any command, under
- Windows. But, hey, I bought the external modem for $179 for data
- communication under Linux so I've never had a problem with
- the modem. It NEVER failed to connect at 28.8 when the other
- side is a V34 Courier (I'm only calling into my school's terminal
- server).

- The thing I don't like about this modem is only the volume
- control button. I like the one on the regular Sportster.
